East Caicos is the largest uninhabited island in the Caribbean, a pristine wilderness teeming with life. The Turks and Caicos National Trust, with the support of our partners, is dedicated to protecting this natural treasure. Your support can help us safeguard the island’s unique ecosystems and cultural heritage for future generations.
We are developing a community-driven conservation plan that not only preserves East Caicos’s natural beauty and biodiversity but also benefits local communities. This project, funded by the UK Government’s Darwin Plus scheme, is a vital step in ensuring that East Caicos remains a protected wilderness.

Local film production company BTSW productions are currently making a film on East Caicos Heritage Values. It is coming soon but meanwhile here is a trailer for it..

The Marine Conservation Society has been finding out what the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands want for future of East Caicos. They’ve used the Community Voice Method to capture views about this issue to form the East Caicos Community Vision. In April and May 2024, we screened the Community Voice Method film East Caicos – Our past, our present, and our future at workshops around the TCI and recorded lively and constructive discussions amongst the participants. Watch the film and listen to the voices here.
